NewsA group of citizens in East Portland have been working with Portland Parks & Recreation to expand the recreation opportunities for children in east Portland, through the city's Mobile Playground program, which is part of the City's Summer Free For All program. In the mobile playground program, two recreation leaders take a city van, filled with sports balls, games and craft supplies to several parks, for a half-day of supervised play at each stop, for a total of ten stops. They make the same ten stops every week, for eight weeks...
