Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 9:30am - 12:30pmLocation: Melrose Apartments, NE 133rd & Sandy Blvd Portland Parks & Recreation's Summer Playground Program brings fun, healthy, and free drop-in activities to parks and other selected locations throughout the summer. Kids can participate in sports, games, arts and crafts projects -- all supervised by playground leaders. Two recreational leaders, driving a van filled with recreational supplies, will be at this location every Tuesday afternoon from June 26th through August 14th. The program is being held at an apartment complex, but ALL CHILDREN ARE WELCOME! This expansion of the summer playground program is made possible by funding from the East Portland Action Plan (http://eastportlandactionplan.org/). |
